The Apostle Islands are twenty-two islands off of the Bayfield Peninsula in northern Wisconsin. Twenty-one of the islands and twelve miles of lakeshore make up the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
The area is known for beautiful sea caves, historic lighthouses, island camping and exploration, bird watching, searching for shipwrecks, beach combing, pristine natural beauty, deep rooted Native history, amazing fishing and so much more!
Many of the sites within the National Lakeshore are only accessible by boat so pre-planning your visit is highly recommended.
Whether you only have a few hours to explore or a week to camp on an island we can help you plan your visit.
There are over 50 miles of hiking trails in the Apostle Islands and remote campsites are available on 18 of the 21 islands. None of these are accessible by car.
Water taxi service is the private transport of the islands. Contact us for our rates and availability.
If planning to hike or camp in the islands, please plan accordingly. Cell phone service is very limited. The National Lakeshore encompasses 500 square miles of Lake Superior. It is vast, remote and weather conditions can change quickly.
Please note that if camping, campsite reservations are REQUIRED and can be made via the link below within 30 days of your anticipated stay.
We are family friendly and welcome all skill levels for fishing.
If you are new to Lake Superior fishing, no worries. Captain Will is happy to show you the ropes and especially enjoys introducing kids to Great Lakes fishing. Likewise, if you are an experienced fisherman he will share in the thrill and excitement as you search for the fish and reel in the big one!
We offer half day, full day and full weekend fishing charters
for up to 4 people.
Planning a special getaway for you and your spouse?

While online booking is an option, your charter date is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email from us. If you don't receive a confirmation within 48 hours please call 763-381-7076

Cancellations
All excursions are weather permitting. We can't fault Mother Nature for doing her job even though her work might interfere with our plans for fun. Weather cancellations will be decided by your Captain. If we need to cancel due to weather, we will do our best to reschedule your excursion or offer a refund. If your Captain deems it safe to travel you may be exploring in the rain (we like to say it's just water, you won't melt!). If you cancel your trip, we reserve the right to retain a cancellation fee. Your confirmation email will have complete terms and conditions listed based on your booked excursion.
Safety - we know that some are a bit apprehensive about going out on Lake Superior. We are happy to answer any questions you have and do a safety briefing before every charter departure.
What to bring - a complete list of what to bring and what not to bring will be provided with your booking confirmation.
